AT Jackson lost her life in February 2000 after sustaining injuries from a car accident. She was a wonderful person who touched those around her with her wicked sense of humor and her very caring nature. Now that she's gone a light has gone out in the world. She will be sorely missed, and quite frankly already is.
AT, my best friend, and now she's gone. I'll miss her forever. It's hard to believe that someone can touch you that deeply, but it is possible, and she made a major difference in my life. I know I'll never forget her. I'm greatly saddened at her passing. She was the bright flame that attracted me to ELF in the first place. Holly showed me A.T.'s first outrigger story and I raced through it and was hooked. I even did something that I would never have considered prior to that- I joined an online community. I had listsibs and we all waited eagerly every day for our daily ration of the second story. She even sent some very nice LOC's when I was getting started. Without them, I might not have continued writing.
May we keep her in our hearts and dreams,
May the Outriggers hold and cherish her

"Isn't it strange how things can change in an instant?" Yes, that's absolutely right. My life has been changed by AT's passing... Gods, "passing". A eupheism. Why do I get the feeling she'd hit me for that? It's only been two days, but already I miss her immeasurably. I miss her quick wit, her sick sense of humor, her wonderful insights, and her stories and ideas. Friendship is stronger than photons, and the impact she made on our lives will never fade. The Outriggers will live on - and with them, her legacy. Goodnight, dear AT.
